I am Emma Stam, and I head up the marketing and services and solutions teams.
EOS is part of our DNA, and having EOS really allows us to focus on the major strategies of the company so that we are providing the most impactful work. And that’s really what Great Bosses, I think, was. How the EOS system comes into play when you do become a leader of people.
I really appreciated the class size being virtual. I think it was important that we had enough diversity of thought, but small enough that we could have some intimate and deeper conversations.
I really appreciated how Joe, right at the top, made it a really safe space. We could all be honest and open, but also just the energy that Joe brought kept us engaged. He was asking us questions. He was prompting us to think about things a little bit differently.
He reinforced the materials with use of the workbook as well as visual aids. It took those things that we do every day in our organization through the EOS structure and built on those as a leader. I found that was the big difference.
